It does not require Vapor barriers and hence is more advantageous than fiberglass type blown insulation. Advantages Blown insulation provides many advantages. It is eco-friendly because it is made of recycled materials. It does not even require much labor to install. Furthermore, it is completely safe and economical. Some of the materials that are used to make blown in insulation are categorized as Class I in fire safety. This can help reduce your insurance premiums. Consequently, you can recover your costs in the long run. The fact that blown in insulation is very easy to set up in your house makes it the most preferred choice of insulation. However, some things are best left to experts, and installing blown in insulation is surely one of them. It takes no more than two hours to put this remarkably efficient insulation in place. Unlike other forms of insulation, blown in insulation leaves no gap uncovered. This minimizes the risk of any transmission of heat. However, the thermal resistance can be improved by adding batt insulation to blown in insulation.
